Olympic Sign Ups

A few weeks ago, during Pip & Pop's last visit to the Higgins household, to entertain my little man, Ryan, Betsy encouraged him to run a route through her yard as fast as he could. She would say, "okay, run to the fence, touch the fence, then run to the shed, touch the shed, then run to the back fence..." Every time he would complete a run, we would cheer. He ran and ran and ran. She would modify the run requirements and he would happily perform to return for thunderous praise. At one point, Betsy said to him, "you're so fast, you could be in the Olympics!" Well, those words registered!

So, a couple of nights ago, Rob and Ryan were laying in his bed talking about the upcoming Olympics. Rob was explaining what they were and all the hard work that goes into them, when Ryan says to him, "I'm a really fast runner. I can be in the Olympics. Dad, would you sign me up for the Olympics tomorrow?"

Can anyone tell me where to find the Olympic sign-up sheet? My kid wants to run in this years events.

yes! sign him up! if you find the sheet let me know...as ry and i discussed over the weekend there are still a few events for which i think i can qualify (archery & riflery) to name a few. speed walking might also be a possibility.
