Boys & A Slip-n-Slide

Since, hopefully, Betsy will be blogging about this past weekend's event, the 1st Annual 4th of July Higgins Hoopla, I decided to share the weekend we spent together on the weekend prior. The "men" had been working on building the shed (which is still not complete) in Ryan and Betsy's yard. We were also having a small celebration for Sean who is really quite old now. It was HOT so I brought over the slip-n-slide and water guns. Boys will be boys...

Wil is not sure what to make of they guys running and hurling themselves across the yard.

Tristan desperately wanted in the action. We kept pulling him away, but he continued to head in to the water.

Still watching. Why does Little Ry get to do it and he doesn't?

We finally just let him go for it.

My boys...aren't they beautiful?

Success!

Wil finally decides that it is fun after all (he was not so sure at first) and shows the boys who's the man of the bunch.

hilarious! i bought a spider man slip and slide a few years back and david tried it out. i have to say, contrary to my memories of these things - they're a head injury just WAITING to happen. good times.

yes, your boys ARE beautiful! wish i coulda been there with you.

Splish-Splish! Nothing better than a little water fun on a hot day. Only thing that I could see was missing would have been you and betsy getting wet! that would have taken it up a notch.

great seeing you as always...love you and hope to see you again soon.

yeah those slip and slides, especially the ones that are made for children 10 and under are painful for the adult, at least for this adult. however those adults didn't seem too pained, maybe they had a numbing agent going into it??

and yes, your boys are adorable!
