We had a fantastic first birthday party for our little guy. Friends and family came from all over to be a part of it. It means so much to us to have those we love fall in love with our boys. That they came with enthusiasm equal to our own in celebrating one years accomplishments brings about feelings of gratitude that we cannot express in words. Thanks to everyone for a great day!
It was a HOT day. Actually, it was the hottest day yet. Up to this point our weather had been rainy with mild temps averaging in the low 70's. I put in the order for no rain, but didn't even think I had to ask that it not be insanely hot. Our guests were troopers and for that we are also thankful.
The Giorgios and Beth
GiGi, Tristan (heading off to bed) & Butch**I titled this post "Part 1" because tomorrow I'll post Part 2 to be titled "Debauchery". After birthday boy was in bed, the party continued...

Part 1 looks like a fun time! happy B-day Tristan - he's cute!
yea! he's awesome. love the cake pics - i have one of each of my boys with similar smears. good livin'.
so...did anybody run their fingertips over the top of your fridge? 'cause if they did, i need to send them a nasty-gram.
Emily, my father-in-law (PopPop) said he was disappointed at the quality of my work behind the toilet. Next time he comes here, I'll hand him a sponge.
LOVE THE CAKE PIC!!! looks like a good turn out....on the edge of my seat waiting to hear about the debauchery that transpired!
and you really should include more pics of you!! we want to see you, and not just in the background. i mean i'm not asking you to shed light on your style and past trends as emily does....you know, just a pic or 2 from time to time! :-)
Happy Birthday Tristan! Looks like it was a fun day. I agree with Denise, post some pics of Y-O-U!
A great party, and Tristan was the star! For anyone who missed it, his reaction to the cake and singing of Happy Birthday was priceless...it was as if he knew he was on stage and played his role to the hilt. Pure joy!
Now, a side note to Emily: next time you're in Jess's house, DON'T RUN YOUR HAND BEHIND THE TOILET BOWL. But feel free to send me a nasty-gram.
Seriously, Jessica is a fabulous mom (and my son, Rob, is OK, too).
Once again, a really enjoyable party.
Happy Birthday to loveable Tristan!
